I started by doing pranayama and meditation. After 2 months or so I added sambhavi and mulabandha. Doing sambhavi and mulabandha at the same time i found is kind of difficult. so instead of mulabandha i am doing siddhasana (just pressure at perinieum with one leg's heel and the other leg just lying on floor).
is this ok? i understand that siddhasana is kind of advanced practice so i am a bit in doubt whether this is fine or not.
Thanks, Near 729 From: "jim_and_his_karma" <jim_and_his_karma@yahoo.com> Date: Sat Apr 16, 2005 11:16pm Subject: Re: Can i use siddhasana as replacement for mulabandha? jim_and_his_... Offline Send Email See lesson 58 for advice on this.
It's best not to skip things; the practices are designed for everyone, and solving the "puzzle" of each new addition and getting past the initial clunky stage is intrinsic to the self-pacing you see mentioned again and again. Nothing's super-easy, but nothing's anywhere near impossible, either.
There is much guidance in the lessons, so you may want to consider buying the book and reading quite carefully (of course, you're also always welcome to ask questions here as well...but we're not as smart as Yogani!).
