Dear Suresh,

Before you can get to the source of thought, you need to cultivate Inner Silence /Stillness. This is done by starting a meditation practice. Here at AYP, we recommend Deep Meditation which can be found here

http://www.aypsite.com/plus/13.html

There is plenty of information on the forum threads "Discussions on Deep Meditation and Samyama"

Good luck in your practices
