Hi all,

My inner guru is starting to give me insights. One I can actually see in the world, but the others make sense for a fraction of a second, but then I''m just confused. I've tried repeating them, but I feel like I've lost them. I get swirling energy near the root but that's it if I repeat them. Anyone else experience this? What happened? What did you do?

Try not to grab onto insights and/or try to understand them with the mind. Finally it is an "in-sight"... so it is already in us and so we cannot really lose it and when needed it will come back to us.

If something is obvious, go with it, if it comes in flashes and goes away then let them go.

Does this make sense?

Hi lalow33,

When insights come, especially ones that when pondered in the mind leave me more confused than clear, I use the AYP principle of samyama on them. Release them into stillness and allow them the space to return or not, in their own time. My experience is that they usually return, with an increased sense of clarity, and the insights are integrated sooner than if I go chasing after them with my mind.

Love,
Carson

P.S. The lesson on samyama is here: http://www.aypsite.org/150.html
