Things might get toasty-woasty on the flipside of the underbelly
Where the flies zippidy do-da-day to feed off the wishful waste of hungry ghosts
Wandering through make-believe masquerades of magnificent imaginations
Multiplying into infinity quintets of morphogenic instruments
Playing deranged and deluded tunes from the horror of hell
Just above, heaven is whistling Dixie, as chaos becomes order, as madness becomes sanity,
as floating spaciness becomes grounded gravity,
as bitter arguments become Newtonian love-making,
as enemies greet the friends they killed and buried.
You have an answer?
Prove it to me, through and through,
Only, whisper simple instructions and let go of your false humility
Step into the light and fall back into the shadows so you can stay dirty and real
Remember the past and the seed of explosive life that showed no mercy upon any matter
You fancied yourself a master but realized you were forever an apprentice-student-child
Learning the language of love for the sake of endless summers and hibernation winters--
Cracking the ice of a fire that roared with lion decibels of piercing intensity
And the only sound that remained was silence. |
