Such is Life
A torrential rain pours down
Dissipating the clouds of ignorance
From which it frowns;
Surrendering to the nothingness.
The graveled roads of apathy are hit
Flooding, drowning, eroding
Weeping, grieving, bleeding;
Surrendering to the nothingness.
A scorching hot sun emerges
Transmuting the floods into steam
And steam into the atmosphere
As the tears of desire disappear;
Surrendering to the nothingness.
The oak tree of fear now exposed
Standing all alone
Smoking, blazing, roasting
Roaring, soaring, absolving;
Surrendering to the nothingness.
The ash of Freedom is here.
The naked Truth is clear.
The light of Love is dear.
Such is Life without fear.
