One and Unique

The colours of the rainbow are pure
Beaming as one for all to adore
And when integrated they make even more
Unlimited colours in unlimited shades
Transcending their limitations each day
Diversity within Oneness is nature’s way

The left-right paradigm is coloured as two
And leaning together it serves the few
When for one we're against the other
Setting rigid belief systems in rigid lines
Enforcing limitations that we’ve defined
Dividing and conquering by design

The government is to blame
The corporations are the same
The bankers are controlling the game
They are the ones that are insane
All our efforts are in vain
This pyramid system is ingrained

We are the earth that supports it
We are the water that replenishes it
We are the sun that ignites it
We are the air that breathes it
We are the space that nourishes it
We are the hands that built it

Our lust is their lust
Our anger is their anger
Our greed is their greed
Our apathy is their apathy
Our laziness is their laziness
Our fear is their fear

When one stands as One
She stands as All
When one stands for One
He stands for All
When we become as One
We become as All

This game is won within
Dare to be unique
And transcend it all

Since embracing the path of Self-awareness study/practice less focus has been on the outside world in recent years. This changed when a friend lent a book written by Thom Hartmann. It compels one to take a deeper at the world around us.

Listening to people like David Icke who teaches an inside-out outside-in approach and Alex Jones whom is a hard hitting independent journalist (as examples), opened the eyes a lot to what's happening in our world today. It's certainly not an easy truth to face.

It pushed 'little' me to really dig DEEPER and he eventually stumbled upon these little gems (the ebooks above), and their insights were immediately helpful. They integrated nicely with what's been studied and explored to date.

So yeah, just think of this piece as colors of the rainbow integrated together to create something beautiful in the midst of suffering by simply celebrating its own uniqueness and Oneness

We do live in challenging times both on a micro and macro level. But great challenge does bring great opportunity. There is always a higher purpose at hand. The only reason life exploits our weaknesses is so that we can transcend them and realise in Truth they were never there.

The trick is to care about 'everything' (this expands ones our heart to Heart) and 'nothing' at the same time i.e. to care with all our hearts unconditionally and without attachment to results.

This is the love that transcends self and flowers into Being. Truth, Compassion and Self-responsibility are the most powerful tools we have for this transition.

If we want peace in the world, we ourselves must be peaceful inside-out. If we want respect in the world, we ourselves must be respectful inside-out. This world does only reflect what's truly in our heart of hearts.

The most powerful way to make this transition is to vividly look at what that reflection is and use it as inspiration to 'be the change'. For example, if your weakness is anger or indifference, open heartedly look at the devastation war is causing. You wont' see it on the news (that's highly filtered). But you'll easily find quality documentaries for free online though.

Those images will resonate deeply within your heart and every time you feel anger you'll remember those images (with an awareness your anger only feeds their anger). Then the your anger will immediately dissipate due to the heavy feeling this realisation conjures up till eventually it doesn't rise at all anymore and you've literally become Peace.

"Pain pushes you till the vision pulls you" Michael Bernard Beckwith

Very nicely put Matt. It is so beautiful to see how we all come to the same realization sooner or later... the paths are many, the truth is the same.
Thank you!

Namaste

In closing, please enjoy this divinely inspired piece of music:

Lyrics:

Ong Namo - Snatam Kaur

The rain is pouring down
Like all the souls you sent here
Coming to this earth to find healing
Mother earth takes in the rain
Like your heart takes my voice
Let us free each other
With our prayers
With our voice

And I'm coming home
And I'm coming home
And I'm coming home
And I'm coming home

Ong namo guru dev namo (repeat chant)
Guru dev guru dev namo (repeated chant)

I bowed my head to God
And God took all of me
Every imperfection
God took all of me

And everyday
God lives and breathes through me
Looking in the mirror
I love you sweet God

Oh my Beloved
Kindness of the Heart
Breath of Life
I bow to You

Divine Teacher
Beloved Friend
I bow to You (I bow to You)
Again and again

Lotus sitting on the water
beyond time and space
this is Your way
this is Your grace

Ong namo guru dev namo (repeat chant)
Guru dev guru dev namo (repeated chant)

this is Your way (x4)
this is Your grace

Every breath I take
This is Your way
This is Your grace

Every word I speak
This is Your way
This is Your grace

Every tear I shed
This is Your way
This is Your grace

Every hand I hold
This is Your way
This is Your grace

Every thought I have
This is Your way
This is Your grace
