Don't trivialize the moment, for every moment's trivial:
sacred in its insignificance, relative on the scale of grandeur and boredom.

There's no amount of pleasure you could consume to satiate this thirst to know where you come from.
To quench that thirst, you'll have to find the purest spring that existed before the complications arose.

There's many teachers that say: "Just look at the world this way--like me."
But the wisest ones say that very little, and instead say:
"Find out for yourself, and here's a roadmap to help you along the way."

The road is long and sometimes treacherous,
and the temptation to whine and curse is strong,
but the lamp of liberation will not flicker, nor dwindle,
if you keep your eyes on the prize.
