Haven't posted anything here in a while.
My girls introduced me to these two guys (on YouTube): Michael Henry and Justin Robinett
They really are gifted... Here is one of my favs : Michael Henry and Justin Robinett's cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". http://youtu.be/m1_o-VGp-t4

His name is "Mick", pronounced differently than Mike. What a weird thing to write a song about for Maroon 5; a singer more famous than yourself, calling him by one name as if you are friends, but it's not about his singing, it's about people who imitate his moves! Ha ha
Namath- I have always liked Thank You. Did you know Alanis completely made up her singing style? She used to have a very plain voice. Then one night at a party she started singing in her present nasal tone, with exaggerated pronunciations, and people went crazy. So she continued and her career took off like a rocket. |

Hey guys, preeeettttyyy cool choices (coming from a guy who used to let all his bhakti push through music all these years until I finally foudn Yoga)!
I wanna share something with you which I didnt totally embrace on the first time but now it just speaks to me so damn much and really inspires me a dman whole lot on this journey
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80vJuxrrr3o
let me please share a short part of the lyrics - have a look :)
Stop holding it down Stop thinking it over Decide and you'll live your life awake Your body's the seeker Emotion will lead you Provided you live your life awake
I know you feel it in the space around you It's coming round to make a change for you this time So you can't hide You're only thinking this a day at a time You've only ever walked away so make it right. I still try and let you walk away
Got this whole thing underground I can feel you in every sound Got your face held up in lights I see your hand in every little thing See your mind in every little thing Your face in line Not every little thing will go your way

So you do have a job... Keeping a 4 year old happy doing what makes you happy as well, is a very rewarding job. |

My daughters and I are rocking this one these days:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bsr...gdata_player
I'm wide awake I'm wide awake I'm wide awake Yeah, I was in the dark I was falling hard With an open heart I'm wide awake How did I read the stars so wrong I'm wide awake And now it's clear to me That everything you see Ain't always what it seems I'm wide awake Yeah, I was dreaming for so long I wish I knew then What I know now Wouldn't dive in Wouldn't bow down Gravity hurts You made it so sweet Till I woke up on On the concrete Falling from cloud 9 Crashing from the high I'm letting go tonight (Yeah I'm) Falling from cloud 9 I'm wide awake Not losing any sleep I picked up every piece And landed on my feet I'm wide awake Need nothing to complete myself - nooohooo I'm wide awake Yeah, I am born again
Outta the lion's den I don't have to pretend And it's too late The story's over now, the end[Pre-Chorus] I wish I knew then What I know now Wouldn't dive in Wouldn't bow down Gravity hurts You made it so sweet Till I woke up on On the concrete Falling from cloud 9 Crashing from the high I'm letting go tonight (yeah, I'm letting go) I'm Falling from cloud 9 Thunder rumbling Castles crumbling I am trying to hold on God knows that I tried Seeing the bright side But I'm not blind anymore... I'm wide awake I'm wide awake Yeah, I'm Falling from cloud 9 Crashing from the high You know I'm letting go tonight I'm Falling from cloud 9 I'm wide awake I'm wide awake I'm wide awake I'm wide awake I'm wide awake
