ONLINE-Yoga Courses

Beginning from October 2011, Yoga Center Sundara will offer ONLINE-Yoga Courses. These courses include yoga practices of the Siddha-masters in differet forms which will enable those interested in authentic yoga, to begin their practicing without having to travel or join courses physically.
The primary purpose of these ONLINE-teachings are to familiarize all interested into different teachings and the original yogic culture of Siva Yoga. The below listed courses can be practiced independently or as an addition to Siddha Thirumular's Siva Yoga
The teachings included in the ONLINE-courses come from the masters of Kriya Yoga and Siva Yoga, Babaji and Thirumoolarji.

Siddha Thirumoolar's Siva Yoga is a complete spiritual path to Self-Realization and beyond. The main practice of this yogic path is called The Three Divine Qualities (3DQs) which is a meditative yoga practice alike to Kriya Yoga. In fact, Siva Yoga and Kriya Yoga belong to Laya Yoga. Siva Yoga was first taught by Sivakami Om Anandi, a direct disciple of Siddha Thirumoolar. Since 2010, her work is continued by acharyas or teachers of Siva Yoga, whom Sivakami Amma authorized to teach.
Siva Yoga Introductory Material is an orientation to this path and spiritual lineage. From this material, one can learn the 51-mantra as well as other basic methods which are further used in 3DQs.
By joining in Siva Yoga Initiation Program, one becomes a registered practitioner of Siva Yoga, learns the 1st Step and receives an initiative charge (shaktipat) from an acharya. By becoming a registered practitioner of Siva Yoga, one promises to keep all yogic techniques in his or her own knowledge. In order to join an initiation program, one also needs to know the 51-mantra by heart.
Acharya Babananda teaches the complete practice of Three Divine Qualities, in three separate weekend programs. There should be at least 6 weeks of daily practice, before attending the next level. This is to raise the spiritual vibration in the body in a steady pace.
Siva Yoga Initiation Programs include
- Introductory Lecture of meditative yoga, Siva Yoga and the spiritual lineage of Siddha Thirumoolar
- Technical lesson of the 1st or the following steps of 3DQs
- Initiation (shaktipat) where the teacher passes a high spiritual charge to the student
- Three guided 3DQs-practice sessions
- Thirumoolar's Darshan, receiving Thirumoolar's direct blessing
- Gratitude Ceremony for the masters in the lineage of Siddha Thirumoolar: Satguru Thirumoolar, Kriya Babaji Mahavatar,Paramahamsa Yogananda and Sivakami Om Anandi
The programs are financially covered by set participation fees.The full fee (in European programs) is 100? and the lower fee is 60?. The lower fee is for people with low income such as students, unemployed and those in retirement. Close your fee inside an envelope and write your name on top. Bring the envelope with you.
Also, bring 3 flowers and 3 fruits for the Initiation Program. Set your fruit and flowers at the altar in front, once you arrive at the venue.
