Lately during meditation my whole body is heating up like it has a fever. Sometimes it comes five minutes in, sometimes it's not till twenty minutes later. Not sure if it's part of cleansing or not. The heating up is not too unconfortable just wondering what it is?

Hi,
It's a sign of the results of purification. As we purify more energy flows through us and as energy is heat in one form we heat up. An enlightened person normally has a great amount of heat flowing through them and in India they massage sweet almond oil into the scalp and body to dissipate the heat.

I agree with Dave... it is purification.

I would recommend ... ground.

It is a sign of pitta overload. Try pitta pacifying diets. Here is a guideline from Yogani:
