Hi Delera,

I listened to the video, which comes out of the Islamic spirituality, and noticed an image of a phrase from the New Testament, "Blessed are the peacemakers." I am touched by that. I am from Christian roots, but I am very aware that Christians have lost touch with our roots in principled nonviolence. This song brings me back to the peacemaking i want to promote in my Christian circles.

Are you from a Muslim background? Could you say a little about why you shared that video?

Love,

Be

Hi Bewell;
thank you for your comment.
yes I'm from a muslim background & I feel the same towards Islam as you mentioned about Christianity.The word Islam is derived from the word Salam which means Peace and it has the direct meaning of complete surrender to the will of God...which we rarely see nowadays.
As for why I shared the video,I'm not sure,lol.No intention!I discovered this singer Mohamad mounir and his songs today-he's already famous but I've never listened to any of his song before- & his songs seem to touch my heart so just felt like sharing

Love;
Delara
