Hi, my 7th Chakra opened a month or so ago and over the past weekend, the energy changed into a big bulb over my head, the size of a basketball. On Monday, it opened into a big flower, probably 24 inches in diameter. Was a terrifying experience - it had a life of its own. I am calming down now and have sought some help. Have been using the deep meditation practice and spinal breathing to help calm the energy down because I have a headache and my lower back was hurting. Also staying away from spiritual practices. This is the most discussion I can tolerate. The headache is better now. Thanks to your guys information on this website and things I have been reading in the posts!

Is there any other advice you would give me to go through this? Resources that I should into? Healers?

Thank you.

Hi Manda,

Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you are using SBP and DM mainly with a view for symptom relief -- to calm the energy down, to relieve headache, and to decrease pain in your lower back. The practices can be useful in that respect short-term.

Another way of looking at SBP and DM practice is with a view for long-term progress. It is recommended that for best progress on our path we do the practices twice daily as a way of life. If short-term symptom relief helps as motivation for long-term practice, all the better.

Namaste,
