This is beautiful, if anyone has anymore recommendations of devotional reggae like this it would be much appreciated.

Is some Bhakti Blues from a devotional reggae artist okay?

Trevor Hall performing AUM Shakti AUM

How about Trevor Hall and Matisyahu singing UNITY?

And I'm a BIG Matisyahu fan (search the forum ..... ) .... this song is the ringback tone on my mobile:

Matisyahu - Time Of Your Song

Wholeheartedly,

Kirtanman

Thank you Kirtanman, yet again, and thank you stevenbhow, all beautiful songs, I have a new favourite artist (listening now) .

Just thought I would add, I make music, never had lyrics in the past, but I am working towards making my own devotional hip hop/reggae/ whatever it turns out as. As soon as I finish my degree (4 months and counting) I intend to get right on it. This will be the first place I post the results.

For now if anyone is interested here are some songs I have made, without my lyrical input but still (as with everything I do these days) with a devotional tint:
http://soundcloud.com/underdog-1/larf

http://soundcloud.com/underdog-1/you-are-peace-1

http://soundcloud.com/underdog-1/lightinthegut

This one doesn't have an overt discernible devotional edge but I made it in one night (quite quick) while very settled in the witness state (hence the name) on returning from a weekend intensive with Mooji (this was the weekend that I switched/suddenly decided to switch from Kriya to AYP), don't know if any of that comes across + it gets more interesting as it goes: http://soundcloud.com/underdog-1/the-witness

Enjoy

Love. x. . x

Thanks, Jono!!

I like all of these ... especially Larf (the 1st one) -- they're all good, and truly enjoyable, though -- thanks for the links!

Nicely done!

Wholeheartedly,

Kirtanman

Hi, I'll throw in some things which you might like, more into dub & other directions, but the reggae roots and reverberations can be found in there :) ... dub music that's what's playing in heaven :) at least everytime I visit :))

Bandulu Dub – Spiritual Evolution - download here (free) http://www.fresh-poulp.net/releases/fpr038/ - listen here: http://dandadarecords.bandcamp.com/...ong-hair-man or on youtube.

Bluetech - Lovesongs to the Source (album) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwOXnpO1fTg

Jah Wobble - Alpha One Three, or any other albums :)

After playing some of you tracks (good job:) I thought you might like: Omnimotion - Open My Heart - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iT-uv23AhQ

Thankyou Kirtanman and tadeas! I am very happy that you like the tracks. Very glad you enjoy, though most people on here love everything so maybe it's not saying that much .

I like the tracks you posted tadeas, all very interesting, with a sense of devotion, always good.

Still loving Matisyahu, inspiring me almost everyday.

Love. x
