Namaste friends

Thought I would share this Ketamine experience I came across on erowid.net as it pretty accurately describes what I have felt many times on Ketamine myself. I used to do 250mg IM injections every evening before laying down to go to bed for between a year and two years straight and it was a "near-death-experience" pretty much every time. After a while a tolerance (to the experience) was developed and it lost that sense of being so "jarring." I think that having gone through hundreds of experiences like this truly helped me along my spiritual path. I am in no way advocating the use of Ketamine here, but I thought I would share this "trip report" with you as I found it somewhat inspirational. Perhaps you will too.

thanks for sharing carson.

my take is that some drugs really provide an oppurtunity to become comfortable with the world of Spirit. in the beginning these places are very alien... but in time they feel more like home then the "real" world. Spirit felt really, super duper alien the first time i encountered it in all its glory

It was only in the beginning when I was making efforts, that I was passing through some strange experiences; seeing lights, hearing voices, meeting gods and goddesses and conversing with them. Once the Guru told me: 'You are the Supreme Reality', I ceased having visions and trances and became very quiet and simple. I found myself desiring and knowing less and less, until I could say in utter astonishment: 'I know nothing, I want nothing.'

~Nisargadatta (I Am That)

It is so.
