I heard her singing from within the silence She told me that she loves me so, and that she has always known me Follow me introspective one, my song will take you to that for which you thirst
Head east and hold me close to you, for you know that you are dear to me I plunge and plunge again into darkness, your sweet song my only friend Then behold a splendid sun has risen behind curtains of closed eyes
O how I care for you dear sparrow, no longer will my walk betray you

Dear Jamuna,
I remember( many years ago ) when I was a child, my brother rescued an injured sparrow and it became a family pet for a while before it was released back to the wild. But even after that, it kept returning and would perch on top of the wall whistling to us. When we whistled back, it would fly onto our hands. Thank you for letting me relive the memories. Ger |
