My lovers Face
Oh, but to see your Face!
If allowed, I will call it grace,
that I have yet to be with a lover
who presents his Face without cover
To me, this is crucial in devotion
To be naked is the only true notion
that will merge the circle and the line,
to make space for expanding the Devine
I myself, is but a little novice
in the dream of life, so do take notice
Don’t believe that my words are yours;
that my tears will smooth the edge of your swords
You see, I myself, cannot see my own Face
Although I’m surrounded by mirrors and grace
I have yet to discover my true reflection,
even though I’ve spent years in holy detection
But I live in hope that I one day will see;
and that my perception will shift to the degree
that my lovers face will shine what is known:
That the Face I’m perceiving in truth is my own
