 some confusion about mula bandha

i am practicing mula bandha daily with pranayama

i am sitting in siddhasana with perineum putting on heel.

In mula bandha i am shifting the perineum (region between anus and genital) muscle towards anus side you can say towards spinal cord.

In perineum muscle i feel(when i press with heel) some pipe like structure.

i shift this structure towards anus.

is it correct?????

Hi Mrityunjay singh,

Mulabandha is essentially a gentle squeezing of the anal sphincter muscle, and a drawing inward and upward of the muscles above that going towards the upper pelvic region. It can also include a gentle flexing and lifting of the pelvic floor muscles (just above the perineum).
