Hi all, I am very curious about the tantra discussed here. I dont come from the AYP school of medicine, so its pretty unfamiliar to me besides being a word that i recognize.
I commonly read posts indicating that "not coming" is somehow beneficial to ecstatic conductivity.
Is this something that is different for everyone?
I do not notice a difference if i haven't done it in a while... I do have more periods of low sexual drive and high sexual drive since K, ups and downs so to speak, but besides these changes, i have never noticed a correlation between energy levels and ejaculation. Anyways, i do not know that i'd actually want to increase the prana flow in my body by abstaining.
I do notice that if i have tons of extra k flowing, so much so that i cant really function, than besides self pacing its helpful to give the misses some attention
I find this interesting because it seems like something lots of people are buying into, or have personal experience with.
Am i missing something here? |

Hi TNTN,
If you are at an advanced stage of kundalini awakening, then it may not affect you much whether or not you ejaculate during orgasm. This would depend partly on how often you ejaculate. The reason that conserving sexual essences can have less effect at later stages of the path is because of something called the automatic vajroli effect. If this is occuring then during lovemaking your sexual essences are being transmuted into higher vibrational (read magical) substances. The ecstasy (and energy) produced by this process can outweigh the loss of energy incured through ejaculation. The higher octave product of natural vajroli is amrita, the nectar of immortality.
So yes, it is an individual thing, and you'll have to experiment for yourself to find out what works.

Hi TNTN,
Women also produce sexual fluids which go through the same process of transubstantiation with vajroli. The only difference for women is that they tend to loose less energy with orgasm under normal circumstances, so they don't need to be quite as careful as men do with regard to remaining pre-orgasmic during love making.
See this lesson on the issue of women and orgasm (especially Answer 2):

and this one:

And these lessons on natural vajroli:

All the best
