i've recently watched this very good documentary by Robert Fisk from the independent "not for the faint hearted."
don't think it's available on amazon but if you can stumble unto it somewhere else i suggest you watch it.
pros: Beirut to Bosnia is a discovery channel documentary that's a bit old but it's good food for thought on the way things "really" are here at the middle east.
with Robert putting in some good journalist questions, the ones you'd like to ask yourself...
downside: the documentary is a bit too much on the leftist side of the picture but remains one hell of a documentary non the less.
