Hi All,
I have a question. Most of the time I experience sensations (described in the lessons) after DM, in the day, not while doing DM.
For example, Lesson "63 talks about warm and cool sensations while meditating, but I rarely experience the sensations of any lesson. It all happens during the day.
Is this somehow less since it does not occur while meditating? Am I making progress, or am I doing something wrong?
Today I experienced the warm and cool sensations, but a few hours later, after meditating.
thanks, nirmal |

Energy experiences can happen any time, or even not at all. You're making progress as long as you're doing the SBP/DM every day.
The practices are so amazingly simple that you basically can't do them wrong. Deep breathing with attention going from root to brow. And then saying "IAM" over and over again. Keep with it, before long it gains its own momentum (it is after all our natural state of being) and then it requires no micromanagement.
Enjoy the energy! JDH |

Thanks JDH, yes I do SB and DM twice a day, every day. I think Yogani has made that abuntantly clear in his lessons!
I just didnĀ“t know if all the experiences should happen during the practice, or is it normal to experience sensations described in the lessons outside of practice.

Hi nirmal!
My most frequently encountered sensation both in meditation and normal activity is a slight feeling of warmth in the brow, I'm getting it right now just thinking about it
This happens more often in meditation than not for me, but if they occur for you more frequently in everyday life then so much the better, they won't be distracting you from your meditation that way :D I would not see it as a negative thing if there are few sensations coming up during your sitting. They come and go, and I don't believe their absence signifies a lack of progress.
Love :) |
