Apparently there's 1000 Earths in Jupiter, volumetric-ally speaking.

Also some times regarded as Earth's 2nd Moon because of the gravitational influence on us,even if it's a lot further away.

I learnt this through a recent documentary on uk tv -'Wonders of the Solar System'.

The young professor in it explains how asteroids, meteorites and other space debris are propelled on a course towards the earth because of Jupiter's influence.

From Inner Space to Outer Space....

Here's another interesting video; this one's about pulsars and the scientist behind their discovery, Jocelyn Bell Burnell.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...nell/?from=r

It's part 1 of a three-part series ,apparently.

Who will be remembered, in retrospect, as the leading scientists of the 20th Century?

Enjoy!
