Hi All,
Curiosity sufficiently aroused,
I've just ordered off Amazon a copy of 'Kundalini Tantra' by the late Swami Satyananda Saraswati, and would be curoious what feedback folk would have relating to the apporach outlined within for awakening Kundalini.
Or indeed any other yoga school- Convergences,divergences- i'm just interested!.
AYP'ers or folk from other schools of practice, views appreciated.
I also decided to stick another title on the cart that might help me on my path too.--- the Arthur Avalon (classic- supposedly) Secrets of Kundalin & Shaktic Yoga.
Always meant to order these books but always postponed or previously imagined i was out my depth.
I say this because i have been thinking about the approach discussed recently on this forum about balncing ida and pingala as a pre-requisite for suhumna , then eventual Kundalini/Shakti awakening.
I've got a good enough handle on AYP, certainly core and additional ones but i'd be a fool if i did'nt look outside the box.
Hey...... whatever it takes to complete the journey ,right...?
Ya, Know.........
Ignorance is no excuse- this applies to yoga as anything else in life.
God Bless! |

OMARKAYA,
Yeah- it's a real treasure, that book!!!, must agree with you here.
though, sure ,alot more accessible after my time here at AYP.
it is an advanced boook for the serious student that did advise a few years with hatha and raja yogas before embarking on thhe kundalini and kriya yogas, and the programs within. I feel i'v gained the valluable experience tool-base and knowledge to go deeper like an interior rexplorer into this field, the unknown...
i also got kundalini & shaktric yoga secrets through the post today- now there's a another serious book, classic. like what little i read of it. authoritative etc.
yes- all this stuff can really change your life. you're a genius! we're all (potential) geniuses.......
it all makes a lot more sense now.
Cheers Dude! |
