Hi everybody:

Question: The prana is going wild in my body especially my sexual energy. Is it time for me to add the Mulabandha to my practice? At the moment I'm only doing the spinal breathing and meditation 2x day.

thanks,
love

hmm. i was thinking a bit about info on you and your practice. sexual orgasm cycle or habits posture for practice?(not sure if you are male or female yet). sitting on pillow or not? do you do breath retentions? etc...

hmm, well it doesn't seem so bad. I wouldn't worry about sexual feelins, it seems like you are just stirrring up some energy. Enjoy it, you will probably find that it settles down as you get used to it.

I would suggest that adding anything like Mulabandha would exacerbate the situation. The more prana and sexual energy we stir up in the mix, which is what adding Mulabandha will do, the more likely you will increase the symptoms you describe.

I would personally reduce the amount of time spent on pranayama until the excesses simmer down.
The symptoms you describe are often associated with kundalini energy and lot's of purification going on.
