Hi All:

As you may know, all of the AYP books are available for the Amazon Kindle here. This is Amazon's proprietary format ebook reader, which alters book format, moving some of the illustrations around on the pages. Other than that inconvenience, the Kindle formatted ebooks are fine.

There has been an announcement recently that all Kindles will receive a software upgrade soon so they can also read standard PDF documents. This is good news, because all of the AYP ebooks are available for download in standard PDF format here.

As far as I know, all the ebook readers that are out now cover PDF format -- Sony, Barnes & Noble, etc., so we are covered for all devices as ebook readers become more popular. Amazon Kindle is expanding to cover PDF reading to keep up with the competition.

Speaking of competition, Google Book Partners has announced they will be rolling out paid online reading of ebooks in 2010, so any device with an internet browser can become an ebook reader. All of the AYP books will be available through that source also.

Of course, the AYP ebooks can be read on your computer in PDF format, which is where it all started. And the AYP ebooks continue to be available through the original Adobe-secured format channels, like Diesel. Additional sources for the AYP ebooks can be found on the books page.

Just an update on the evolving state of affairs for ebooks. We are doing our best to keep up.

Enjoy!

The guru is in you.
