And it's quiet

Oh my children
Your mom is a fool
So many times
you are wiser than I

But I love you
So now....it's goodbye

Oh my trees
I'll see you from Ireland
And another heart
will be drawn
To our common space
And to hug your stems
And release the hold of the years

You grow hearts
As a lover bears fruits

And I love you
So now.....it's goodbye

Yes I gave my heart
to Amila
She is six.....soon seven
And wise
A friend asked "won't you miss it?"
(It once christened my head)

The turquoise heart
in her little hand
........What a joy........

Never truly
owned it
till now

And her dad
He loves her beyond him
In his eyes
shines the heart of God

And I love you
So now......it's goodbye

Love is so.....
so quiet
And yet....it touches
Yes moves

Breathing life into all
that is old and stale
Births what it must
to heal and soothe

The most precious
Most beautiful room
A wall-less and roof-less
haven

Oh my lover
Yes you forgave me
That I also took
what I gave

Am a fool
so never feared
myself
So I pushed you
........Am sorry my heart........

Yet my arms stay open
(Am still a fool)
But you can come and go

When all is said
and done
