Hi All,

An absolute gem of a post from Tau Malachi of the Sophian Fellowship, on how Christ highlights the reality of enlightenment/non-duality.

Some Excerpts:

"Through the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension he reveals the fullness of the Messiah in him, which is the fullness of Ain Sof, the Infinite, and by way of this power of the Supreme in him he binds all sin, all negative karma, to the cross, and through the resurrection he dispels the ignorance that is the cause of sin, breaking the spell and enchantment of forgetfulness."

"It is as though in a dream, asleep and dreaming we are deceived by what appears, believing that it has an independent and substantial self-existence separate and apart from us, and believing ourselves to have an independent and substantial self-existence separate and apart from the ground or source from which it all arises.

Thus, in this dualistic consciousness, this ignorance, we grasp at what arises “as in adultery,” believing it to be substantial and absolutely real, although, in truth, it is a relative reality, and is empty of any independent and substantial self-existence, subjective, not objective as it seems. From this self-grasping, the play of desire and fear arises, and with it the law of cause and effect, and asleep and dreaming, but unaware that we are dreaming, whether some heavenly dream or hellish nightmare, or something in between, we remain in ignorance and in bondage to the law, and everything that transpires is, indeed, a relative reality to us, real in our experience of it.

Whatever arises in this state of unconsciousness, forgetfulness, we are fated to experience and have little, if any, choice about it; but when we recognize and remember that we are asleep and dreaming, and begin to awaken in the dream, all of a sudden the we have the power of choice and the dream can be transformed, and it can even be dissolved into its root, the essence and nature of consciousness from which it has arisen.

Now, here we shall say that the remission of sin taught in the outer teachings of the gospel is grace for those asleep and dreaming, unaware that they are dreaming, believing their sins and death to be ultimately real – believing in the Messiah and in the holy sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin, the ignorance of their “blind belief” is transformed into saving grace, for through their faith they are liberated from their bondage.

In this, naturally, as faith matures and gnosis dawns, and the soul of the faithful begin to awaken, something even more wonderful happens – they begin to recognize the true nature of the reality of their experience and they recognize that the Christos is in them, that Christ is their true essence, and so awakening in the dream and transforming the dream, they are empowered to awaken from the dream."

"The appearance of the Risen Christ reveals this – in him we are shown the true nature of reality and the true nature of ourselves; and all the while in the wonders Yeshua Messiah, or Jesus Christ performs this truth is being revealed for all to look and see, and to recognize and realize – it is as a lucid dreamer in a dream world seeking to awaken other dreamers in the dream, and ultimately seeking to awaken them from the dream.

We are taught that all creation comes into being from the Christos, Christ the Logos and Christ the Sophia – indeed, the entire radiant display, the dream life, dream people and dream world, all manner of dreams, all manner of magical displays of mind, consciousness or soul, all arise from the power of the Christos within and beyond us, the power of God, the True Light, the Divine Mind.

The one who recognizes and realizes this, who truly remembers this Divine I Am, embodies this power – the power of transcendence, the power of transformation."

Source: Thread titled Hayyah Yeshua at Sophian Fellowship Forum, Tau Malachi's Post from Sep. 22, 2009 (the entire thread is good//worth reading).

The teachings of Christ are not teachings about a radical rabbi from two thousand years ago -- they are yet another beautiful iteration of how consciousness actually works - and hence, an Accurate Useful Map (AUM) ... One ... to bring us all the way Home.

These teachings are about consciousness now; both our "own" consciousness - and the real one.

And there's a very simple trick to using these maps, it seems.

Far too simple to be believed.

Just simple enough to be realized.

The trick is:

The way for these maps to bring us all the way home is not to follow them ... but rather ..... to let them.

Let Go.

Let God.

Have Fun.

Pass It On.

Wholeheartedly I Am,

Kirtanman
