If Yogani were to write contemporary poetry he would probably be lauded as another Gary Snyder. I am a MFA candidate specializing in Poetry and find Yogani's teaching very helpful in not only loosening up creativity but simply enjoying the process "as is". Thus far I have used "hong sau" as the mantra but am eager to try and compare "ay-am" and see how it compares.
