This was a post deleted from another forum. I don't fully understand it but I do know it contains a lot of wisdom. I taken the liberty of heavily editing to make the post of general interest.

Namaste,
Joe

"After learning to live in the eighth level we are finaly ready to enter the human level of understanding the mechanics of the body. Hopefully one has already done so in pursuit of creating a balance of self with our fully engaged femine grounding energy and masculine power and discernment.

Enlightened or not, to deny the emotional aspect is destructive to the fundamental understanding of what it is to be alive, to be human, and to be ONE, in the moment, and with all life. There is no reason to wait until one's energy has been raised to a level where our emotional dysfunctions rule our lives and influence (often negatively) the lives of those around us. Left unrecognized, the highly charged but held down emotions our inner being carries create havoc around us... The very denial of ebb and flow, light and dark, give and take that IS life, speaks loudly against this small human desire to WILL a state of peace and perfection.

After the energy of our intellectual surrender into the ALL, we find such unbearable inner pleasure and manifestational power, yet our dysfuntional emotions are equally powered beyond the comprehension
of most beings. 'Know Thyself' is then key to this process.

Even from a state of enlightenment, healing the emotional body is not easy. Emotional memory of your own life, and those who came before you, is either recognized, felt and released, or cumulative, trapped, compulsive energy rules your dark and unrecognized self. We peel back layer by layer this stored, genetically inherited behaviour as we evolve. This process does not happen in a single dark night of the soul.

To be truly awakened requires a commitment to open to your fears and examine deeply SELF and every behavior, good or bad, compulsive or intentional, and how they interplay with all aspects of your world. Intellect cannot feel. And if you are not feeling then you are disconected from the life force, or the feminine energy which resides in us all. The vibrant, aware living self experiences the view from the mountaintop through all senses. The intellect can only use words to describe the magnificent, two dimensional view. When intellect is certain of the path or answers, KILL IT. Experience of God/Goddess IS the experience of self. Both sides of our Being, from the right and left hemispheres of the brain, are required to surrender for the inherent duality to cease.

When we release our attachment to belief, we find ourselves in the flow of natural humility. We become so vibrantly astute in the moment that each being, thing or energy that passes our way becomes fodder for our growth and understanding. We become adept at weaving our light into everyday matters. And from HERE is where peace and solitude arise.

The language of emotions or crystalized feelings which we hold mechanically as a defensive action, can be released and replaced by pure unprogrammed feeling that picks up on universal energetic knowing, moment by moment, that is always present and available if we allow it. Any and every belief is a prison preventing us from insights into the depths of all life and existence, especially our own."
