Hello, first sorry for my english. My problem is with the"holdback-method".After the "action" i don't feel a serious problem, but the next morning i feel several symptoms:i'm exhausted, dazed and swooned,my head is heavy, low energy level, pressure at the neck and at the back of the head, and a strange(foggy?) sensation in my head. There is a pressure under the eyes, the lower eyelid is swollen.I never heard these symptoms from anybody who tried the method.Energy block at "jade-pillow"? What's your opinion, what can i do? Thanks. |

Hi Lambs Bread, and welcome!
With most practices there is a breaking in stage when practice or results can be a bit uneven. We call it the "clunky stage." If there is too much discomfort, then it is wise to reduce practice time until things smooth out. Then practice can be inched up again.
Nothing to fear. Just take some time to adapt and all will be fine.
You will get the most out of tantric practices if you are doing a daily routine of sitting practices -- deep meditation, spinal breathing pranayama, etc. See the "main lessons" link at the top of this page. It is suggested to take the lessons in order for best results.
In the lessons there are many reminders not to overdo, and to "self-pace" practices for good progress with comfort. This goes for all practices, including tantra.
Wishing you all the best on your path. Enjoy!
The guru is in you.
