I am alone now

I am alone now
Sitting in the kitchen
Being in this night
Occasional cars trailing by

I lit two candles in the window
It is such a broad sill
A white flower and two candles

This very small flat
The same quietness behind the sounds

I am alone now
Sitting in this church, the kitchen
The candles, the empty table
The hum of the fridge

This tiny place permeated by such vast space

All alone

The piano
The sound of it just standing here

Just standing here in all this holiness

Calmly not waiting

I am just sitting here
Still

Being played

Sparkle
