It being Halloween and all, I've been reflecting on the lure of the scary. I've also been thinking about the energy of "scary music." This music, for example, gives me a bit of an energy rush.
Ritual times like Halloween allow us to face what scares us in a safe way, and enjoy the thrill of it. The key is to keep it safe and keep a sense of humor/irony about it.
