Today I was out on a walk and found, along the sidewalk across from my house, a bottle of Shu Wu Chih. It was sealed and still in the box. I brought it home, but before sampling any I checked it out on the web here:
http://www.cgcmall.com/Shou_Wu_Chih...00swf1-4.htm
It is sold for $24 per bottle. In the description it says "the Chinese consider it to be a... sexual tonic herb that replenishes Qi..."
And also here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shou_Wu_Chih
Sounded ok to me. So I tried it.
I am writing here because, for me, the results were dramatic: after one sip, and not expecting much, I got an eye-opening chi rush all though my body, very balanced and pleasurable.
I'm not into herbal tonics generally and have not sampled many, but today, this one seems like a fit for me.

But what I noticed is the first one has other things in it besides the polygonum flower root essence, right? Usually people take Fo-Ti (ho shou wu) which is only the one essence. Does the cheaper one have the other things in it? |

What I'm drinking and that works for me is the $5 stuff, I double checked at the store. And it is sold as Shou Wu Chih, not Fo-Ti. And it has nine ingredients that appear to by the same as that sold online for $29 (I say "appear" to be the same because there is are some differences in the wordings of the ingredients: Angelica sinesus 25% instead of Chinese Angelica Root 25% -- that looks like the same thing by a different name to me.). |

Hi Bewell, Seems like the online store is giving you 4 bottles for $24.00 so not a huge difference overall. Ofcourse, I think I'll pick it up at the local asian store and give it a try! Thanks |

Let me know what you think. I've been taking a little, diluted in water, after meals. I drink it cold. |

Hi Bewell,
I actually never did get around to picking it up because I am busy experimenting with a couple of other techniques/solutions ( cold showers, oil pulling w/ sesame oil, and yummy coconut oil) I just started these three a couple of days ago and there has definitely been a positive effect but I'll wait a month or so before I put them on the forum.
Please let me know how your experience with the tonic is going?
thanks |

Hi Either,
I've not, on an ongoing basis, had such a remarkable energy burst as from that very first try. Now I use it more like coffee, a final touch on a meal, especially when I'm eating alone, something to cleanse the palate and turn the attention away from food, toward inner energy.
Thanks for asking. |
