Hi All,

You know how there have been all these wars and atrocities and bigotries and stuff, emanating from egoic misperceptions concerning the world's different religions?

Well, I'll be the first to admit that as a species, we may end up feeling a bit silly for a while, seeing as how, well, it appears rather significantly that there, um, are no different religions.

Simply a significant amount of understandable linguistic mutation, per the temporary lack of a global communications network and knowledge base, a couple-three thousand years ago. Along with possibly a teensy bit of egoic power-grabbing.

Overview of Major Players from the Holy Bhagavad Granth Koran Gita Dharma Talmud Sahib Bible.

All together now:

"Oops!"

Cool. Now we can get back to Realizing Self, Loving One Another, and Having a Good Time.

Peace & Namaste,

Kirtanman

Little Addendum:

For anyone who has followed the link in my post above, it is easy to see that the person who compiled some of the amazing linguistic similarities between "Western" and "Eastern" spiritual characters and/or deities, is not a qualified academic or researcher.

However, he points to something very, very important:

The perception of widely varied and even conflicting religions and belief-systems has resulted from egoic and cultural distortions, and not from inherent conflicts within the core teachings of those religions or systems.

That's why Aldous Huxley called it the "perennial philosophy".

That's why the mystics (initiates in internally-focused paths) and esoteric (internal, as opposed to "exoteric", or external) practitioners of all the world's spiritual systems attain the same experiences and awareness (enlightenment).

Enlightenment is not solely the end-result of yoga, but of Budhhism, Kabbalah, Sufism, Indigenous paths, Sufism, Christian Mysticism, and on and on.

That there were far fewer original pointers to the reality of enlightenment than currently believed, is something that can be "reverse-engineered" by looking at the facts and language involved.

Why is this potentially important?

Because liberating oneself from identification with cultural rigidity is one of the most important things we can ever do.

What we call history is essentially a bunch of marketing brochures, developed by those who wanted to sell you their product (their nation's greatness, the divine right of kings, the truth of their religion, etc. etc. etc.).

Are you aware that adherents of Christianity, Islam and Judaism all count Abraham as the patriarch of their faith?

Have you ever noticed that "Abraham" sounds a whole heckuva lot like ... Brahma.

And that his wife Sarah's name sounds a whole lot like ... Saraswati?

And that Brahma and Saraswati are, indeed, a couple?

Or that the Indus Valley civilization appears to have been wiped away by the massive flooding of the (formerly, prior to satellite technology, thought to be fictitious) Saraswati river, around 1900 BCE ... right around the same time that the legends of world-flooding, i.e. Noah, Ark, animals ... developed?

Or that the Black Madonna, revered by Gypsies, is known as Sarah (for short) ... with her full name being Sarahkali?

(i.e. in yoga, Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva; Creation-Preservation-Dissolution, have their Female Divinity counterparts, Saraswati-Lakshmi-Kali, all of whom are emanations of Mahalakshmi, Narayani ... the divine active principle of Source, itself.)

Or that the gypsies are so-called, because they were mistakenly thought to be from Egypt ... but among themselves, they are known as the "Rom" - yes, the people of ... Rama, and that they acknowledge their land of origin as India?

All true ... and all unveiled by yours truly, via a (not! ) sophisticated research methodology known as semi-random Googling.

And here's the kicker:

The ancients came up with a series of Deity-names which retain amazing similarity throughout most of the world, and which just happen to create optimal yogic evolution (when repeated extensively, and with focus and devotion) within our bodies, via direct neuroendrocinological enhancement to our physiology, which allows us to realize and become aware of Reality as it is, once it is no longer hindered by our physical-plane only faux-awareness.

That, I didn't Google.

That, I experience.

Yoga is a very, very fine science indeed.

The yogic sages knew; they knew.

Sanskrit, and Sanskrit deity-names are nothing more nor less than the source-code for your body's yogic evolution.

Correct pronunication, combined with other yogic practices (including Bhakti), and correct tongue-position, literally creates biochemical enhancements in your brain and body that you can feel, and realize the benefits of, directly.

With very slight adjustments, the "other systems" of the world all have chanting traditions, with similar sounds.

If *you* knew that you wouldn't have the luxury of a global communications network, or even a consistent network of writing and literacy, wouldn't *you* maybe embed the source-code for neurophysiological evolution into the language - a consciously designed, pre-structured language - itself, with some of the more powerful combinationas of sounds being embedded in the the names of the deities themselves?

And design the mythology for the optimal neuroendrocinological growth, liberation and evolution of your species?

Sure ya would!

After chanting "Guru Brahmam, Guru Vishnuum, Guru Devo MaheshwaraH" a few tens of thousands of times, you realize ... hey, waiddaminnit ...

Brahman = Lower Chakras
Vishnuum = Heart Center
Devo MaheshwaraH = Middle Chakras, up to Crown

The knew.

The Rishis knew.

And they told us.

Like most of us, I tossed and turned in a nightmare for decades.

Some very, very selfless teachers, thousands of years ago ... and through until this very moment ... have handed down key after key after key ... including the ones mentioned above.

Do you see?

Nothing has been left to chance.

Self-Realization is Real, and the tools for its Realization are all around us.

Yoga - It's for Real.

Jai Hridayam,

Kirtanman

Yes, there are no religions. Just paople trying to be more important than other people.
There are however, paths for healing, and implementing your full potential.
