People like me who have a slow dial-up connection can't download large files, like a 20 mb mp3 interview, or an ebook. It takes hours, and our connection will invariably cut off in the middle, then we have to start all over again.
So what we need is a "download manager" that permits resuming a download. Most of those cost quite a bit, but there is a free one at:
