Swami Rama's book, "Enlightenment Without God", an in-depth treatment of the Mandukya Upanishad, was considered by many to be his most important work. But it was allegedly deemed philosophically threatening to the agenda of the people who now run his institute (and with whom he'd reportedly broken bitterly). The book's been "disappeared", and can only be found for hundreds of dollars in infrequent rare book sales.
