Hi All:
Thanks to the audio processing expertise of Trip (Brett), we now have the Deep Meditation book available for download in MP3/iPod AudioBook format.
It can be accessed from the AYP Books Page through a link under the Deep Meditation book, or by going to this direct link:

We hope to have the Spinal Breathing Pranayama book out in AudioBook format in a month or so, and the rest of the Enlightenment Series books by the end of the year.

Not being well versed in MP3 and iPod stuff, can someone enlighten me about whether I can download this onto a CD or DVD. Or do I need an MP3 player or iPod ?

You can download mp3 files on to your computer and then burn them onto a CDR using Nero or any other suitable burn programme. |

Hi Louis:
No, you don't need an iPod. MP3 files can be played on any computer on standard audio players, with MS Media Player being the most common (default in Windows), or on any portable MP3 player.
Many CD burners have software to make standard format audio CDs out of MP3s, and many of the newer CD players and DVD players also play MP3 format without conversion.
The audiobook download is zipped into a single file (75 MB) in EasyZip format, which is not a problem for most systems to unzip automatically. If you do not have zip software built into your operating system, you can get free EasyZip here, and many other places: http://www.thefreesite.com/easyzip111.htm
The zipped audiobook file contains 43 MP3 files/tracks adding up to 2 hr 45 min of listening, plus one PDF text file with a welcome message.

Got it downloaded onto the computer, next step onto a CD.
Have listened to some and personally find it great, particulary as a refresher.
I plan to listen to it in the car as I drive around. Also plan to play some either before or after each of our group meditations. This way people will be get updated and refreshed as we go along.

Hi Everyone,
Just popping in to point out that the audiobook will need to be split up over three CD's when burned for listening in a CD player. One way of doing so is as follows:
Disc 1: Tracks 01-13
Disc 2: Tracks 14-31
Disc 3: Tracks 32-43
This puts roughly an hour of audio on the first two discs, and 45 minutes on the third disc. Enjoy!

Hi Yogani,
I just listened to the audio preview of the Tantra Audiobook, it was great! I found that you spoke so clearly and that it was almost easier to understand your meanings than reading the book, (though that has its obvious benefits too).
These are definitely worth buying for the car or to put on an MP3 player, thanks for doing them!

It is planned to have the Deep Meditation and Spinal Breathing Pranayama AudioBooks available in CD format soon through CD Baby (USA) -- these are three CD sets with very nice packaging.
All of the Enlightenment Series books are available in MP3 AudioBook download, up through Samyama -- five so far.
Diet, Shatkarmas and Amaroli will be the next MP3 AudioBook, and I will let you know here when it is ready.

The Spinal Breathing Pranayama Audiobook CD version is in preparation and will be available soon.
Each Audiobook CD version consist of a 3 disc set packaged in a case with insert materials. It is a very nice presentation suitable for gift-giving.
All of the AYP Enlightenment Series Books are available in MP3 download format through multiple channels worldwide. We are gradually catching up in making the CD versions available.

Not sure when the rest of the audiobooks will show up on Amazon. We are working on it. Most of them are available on iTunes now, but that may change due to changes occurring in the audiobook download industry. It is a very fluid situation.
