I was reading on the web, a few weeks ago, a section of Patanjali I'd never noticed before, which essentially says that asana is a slow track for less karmically prepared seekers to be put in touch with their energetic body.
Can anyone help me find this? Thanks! 985 From: victor yj <vic@yahoo.com> Date: Thu Jun 2, 2005 0:53am Subject: Re: Looking for Patanjali quote vic Offline Send Email I believe that this was a misquote. Patanjalis concept of asana was the definition of the seat or posture for meditation, not asana as we know it now as a series of body postures. The quote must have been from another author and mistakenly attributed to patanjali
