Just one more thing about the details to Tadasana -- and, for me, all the
poses. We want to focus on good alignment so as not to harms ourselves
(such a knees not going past toes in Warrior etc.) but if our "shin skin"
doesn't lift, will that really affect the benefit of the pose, -- or more
importantly, our life, happiness, advancement, etc.?

One of the many benefits of Yoga is relieving tension and stress -- when we
try too hard in a pose, or become frustrated because we can do some little
things, or reach some hypothetical goal, we are creating stress rather than
relieving it -- IMHO

Namaste,

A good point, Pamela. One I'm glad you mentioned as I tend to lose
sight of such things when trying to do something new. I over-focus on
doing it right *technically* instead of using my own intuition to
assess what's right for me *personally*. So, such reminders are
things that I need quite often.

Thank-you,

Greg
