Greetings, everyone!

I am curious if anyone has any knowledge about what occasional twitching and pulsing in the cheeks right on the sides of the nose might mean after practicing? I have noticed this over the last few days, and nothing else in my lifestyle has changed that could seem to cause it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts

Hi Deer,

The ida and pingala nadis pass close to the nostrils on their way up through the body to ajna chakra. This pulsating and twitching can be caused by these channels activating. There can also be the sensation as if someone is pricking the skin close to the nose with a small needle. All these things are temporary and end at some stage as the purification process progresses.

Thank you so much for your clarifying response, Christi! This makes a lot of sense. I was starting to feel like a bunny rabbit with all of my twitching!
