of the millions of passengers on this ball of blue its you i see again and again like raindrops that fall that miss my body its the ones i step into i feel the most you become my friend me your servant and perhaps a lover there are not many that come but i welcome all yes i judge curse and seethe theres nowhere to run but theres something that makes me smile knowing the clouds i feel gently pass and im glad ive been caressed by life itself there are few we become truly acquainted to spend time in digressions in folly and dreams this maybe a re run or a practice anew either way i cannot remember so all is by chance i wish i could know you all your stories and doubts it would be then by sheer love and empathy i could walk this earth without passing you by
Very touching Kumar ul islam. I was taking photos at the ocean last weekend and came across a rainbow generated by the spray generated by the massive waves that captured and transformed the light as only seen in one spot at rare moments when the light peaked through the clouds. That moment of connection with that ephemeral beauty spoke to me like your poem.
i am truly humbled by your response paul , our interactions with each other and the world are mundane to say the least at moments we have brief glimpses of utopia with the backdrop of our infinity in time ,we have so few instances of connection with our fellow beings and then they are brief and bounce between our natures and characters ,a joke here a profound word or so and maybe even a discovery of something already here ,our understanding permeates others and vice versa there are billions of us humans and i meet so few and connect with even less i must be missing an enormous amount .
