Does it simply reverse the movements of Prana or get rid of it? So that if Prana is aggressively flowing upwards, does grounding simply drain it down? Or is it the case that grounding is all about "completing the circuit" and getting through the blocked chakras by giving the energy a gentle "push" (in other words integrating the energy)? I don't understand the dynamics.
Also I've read somewhere that Kundalini awakens when Prana Vayu (which normally moves upwards) and Apana Vayu (normally downwards) are reversed. This, as it were, causes the energies to collide (hence all the fireworks). Can someone explain that part, please?
