The first thing I wanted to do was read the discussion area, but you have to get a username, give out your email address and personal details and log in just to do that. No thanks.
Always check the 'revolution' for quality before handing over your email address -- or your bandana, for that matter.

Well I also tried to check out their forum. Haven't registered yet and don't know if I will. Supplying my email address in my eyes is however not a crucial point. I could always open a yahoo email thingy ...
However, I don't know why someone who wants to get a revolution going wants your email address before you can see what's going on in there. Imagine a store or library that requires your email address before you get to look inside. So I just don't bother.

I think you hit it right on the head, man. Looks to me to be more of an info collecting project than a info disseminating project. Organizations like that don't need to have my personal information either!
