Namaste,
There is enormous silence and stillness. An overall calmness and abiding inner silence. But there is no joy, no love, only apathy and this infinite silence.
What is going on? |

Did you ever hear the word equanimity? No joy, no sadness, just be.....in silence, in balance.

Hi Afonsolfm,
Peace and calmness are two of the first symptoms which arise with the cultivation of inner silence. The process deepens from there into joy and bliss. Later on it also deepens into unity and love.
See this lesson:
Lesson 35 - Enlightenment Milestones
and this one:
Lesson 85 - Enlightenment Milestones Revisited
The cultivation of whole-body ecstasy is one aspect of the transition from inner silence to divine love.

Once you've fallen apart ,lost what you think is you determined that it's all about choice ,be very careful in what you choose to exspierience fill consciousness with joy and love if not fill it with want and need ,the latter leads to friction the former to a more fluid movement ,find what gives you joy and then offer it up it then becomes eternal joy ,no right or wrong here no better or worse only choices ,ride your bike listen to music ,we are sensual the eye sees the ear hears the hand touches what experiences these sensations is the self form it how you see fit |

Joy eventually gives way to contentment, which gives way to equanimity. It is flavorless compared to the tantalizing tincture of joy. But it is superior. If it is equanimity, it heralds great things to come. |
