Hi,
based on your experiences, can be (roughly) estimated, how many kundalini awakened people are out there in the world? Probably which percentage of people has had an awakening (of course we only can guess...), is it a rare or common phenomenon?

| It is definitely rare. But its awareness is gradually rising with the internet and more people taking up spiritual practices. |

Awakened kundalini is only one-part of a multiple factor recipe for enlightenment  Not everyone has dramatic kundalini experiences, as the process goes smoothly for many, with regular practice for a long time. There are many posts about kundalini experiences in this forum because people want to share their unusual experience or ask for advice. But many people go through the process without many fireworks. Also, some are born with kundalini awakened in a previous life, so there will be no drama in this life, and no much to talk about when it comes to kundalini.
There are definitely more and more people who are waking up around the world. The spiritual transformation is usually a gradual process, with moments in which there is a complete restructuring - these distinct moments are called awakenings. While each awakening may seem like a final stage at the time, usually it deepens and transforms again later.
As more people wake up, the process supports itself, and it accelerates. Probably when awakened people reach a critical number (a certain percentage), it will trigger a huge change in the world. Then even the ones who are not awaken yet will start to experience reality differently, just like the ones more advanced on the path. We are living interesting times.
