When a devoted host or hostess is serving their guests they may realize upon retrospection, that their hunger had disappeared while they were serving. Why is that?

Jesus' most advanced disciple, John, taught that God is love. When a devoted host finds that their hunger has disapeared I propose that, during the actual act of loving service, they have lost themselves in that love. That the act of loving service can become so powerful that all identification with mind and body(ie their hunger) is lost and that they literally become one with that love. In John's understanding, they become one with God.
