This is a little vague, but in an old post someone shared a clip from a movie where a woman is telling a guy about an astronaut (I think) who hears an irritating dripping sound and he knows it will make him entirely crazy listening to it trapped in space. But he turns it into a gorgeous symphony in his mind.
I'm hoping this sounds familiar to one of you out there in AYP-land.
