Lessons 199 and 287 should primarily address your concerns. Ideally, one should not visit the crown area because of overload issues. |

Hi snake,
it depends on your definitions on energy, shakti and so on. When you increase the amount of prana in the body-mind by pranayama and direct it along the spine, concentrating it in the crown, then the result will be accordingly and in relation to the purity and transformation of the whole body-mind. Means either you will feel nothing, some intensity above without any other effect, or crown qualities will start like peace, bliss, thoughtlessness, dissolution, formlessness and nonduality.
If not enough energy is available in the body-mind but concentration continues at the crown, a response in the perineum-area will start, including flexing of its muscles to move up more and more energy. But to go into crown samadhi like this, the whole system needs to be resistance-free and capable of becoming absolutely still. Then the energy can rise smoothly and can dissolve everything into what is described in lesson 287. This may be your shakti experience.
To the experience here, the successfull risings including openings are always a mix of present prana by pranayama, and additional perineum up-lifting after a still-body mind with the attention at the top and both this only after the system is smooth and strong.
The first successful rising here happened by the help of an accomplished women in this (Mangalananda) and her intense energy-boost + the own practice. The required energy amount is much more than one would imagine, but the moment the requirements are met, the suprise is big how easy it can happen then.
Peace and happy practice! |
