do you know the smile of the contented being who sits and watches the day pass to night a wandering cloud on the bluest sky pondering its solitary changing form the dawn inviting a life to begin on the edge of its light the dew layed like a glaze of tears from a lovers eye change the inevitable consequence of the eternal touch can we be persuaded to be gentle to step back take time and let the smile rise from beneath the surface the self the internal one knows its place and through the smile all is known
