Suffering doesn't really go away, does it? It's not that our suffering ceases Rather it is eclipsed By the joy and grace Of Being
In other words There is no room in our hearts For anything but God |

Blue,
I don't think the suffering is gone, dissolves or disappears in nonduality. It may become irrelevant once we glimpse the truth. In truth, the pain is inseparable and indistinguishable from the bliss of being. The fractional part can only appear to be other than what it is. In reality nothing can exist apart from the Divine, nothing can be separated out from That. When this awareness fully penetrates the heart vessel, there is no room for anything but God. The suffering doesn't vanish because it is included in the Divine. But it (suffering) can't exist apart from the Divine; it can only appear to do so. When our whole attention is on the Unity, we will tend to be free from suffering. That is the Grace of God. But it is still there lurking I think at some point we realize that in order to know God, we must also know His pain. When we see that our suffering allows us to become closer to God, it is transmuted into joy.
