Hello all,
I watched the Incredible Hulk movie tonight. At the end of the scene, the Bruce Banner (the hulk) is mediating, and able to turn his eye green without being provoke. Can meditation help you control your emotion? I think mediation will help you observe your emotion. In case of negative emotion, one can observe the rise of this negative emotion, but act upon it.

Hello Siyan Yes, meditation improves emotional balance - you offload emotional tensions during meditation, plus, with the rise of inner silence (which is a result of regular meditation) you will notice an increased awareness of your own emotions. Also you are in a better position to decide whether you act on them or not. So yes, you can feel a negative emotion and choose not to act on it - that becomes easier with regular meditation. |
